LCS CUESTATION 4.4
September 2006—CueStation 4.4 programming and control software for LCS Audio's (www.lcsaudio.com) flagship digital audio system, Matrix3, adds many new features, including password protection, enhancements to the Wild Tracks hard disk playback option, mixer parameter chasing, improved metering, additional control mapping functions and more efficient screen layouts.

LCS CUECONSOLE
September 2005—The CueConsole from LCS is a modular control surface that works with the company’s Matrix3 digital audio mixer. The 48kHz/32-bit system supports up to 280 inputs, 512 outputs, 256 buses and a 256x512 matrix controlled by Space Map®, the multichannel panner standard with every LCS system. A CueConsole/Matrix system incorporates dedicated hardware, negating the need for a computer while running the show. Automation features one-button capture of all controls and individual wait and fade time settings for each fader, panpot and matrix. Additional features include unlimited presets and multiplatform software support (Mac OS X, Windows XP Pro, Linux). Options include built-in digital multitrack playback and a Variable Room Acoustic System. Pricing is dependent upon configuration; a FOH system with 48 inputs, 16 outputs, I/O processing and 32 motorized faders starts at around $110k.

LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEMS MATRIX3
October 2000—Matrix3 is LCS' third-generation automated audio control system. Developed to the demanding requirements of live theatrical productions and themed entertainment, Matrix3 offers unparalleled flexibility for solving tough dynamic audio matrixing, processing and automation requirements. Highly modular and greatly expandable: Systems can be configured from 8x8 all the way up to 400 inputs by 512 outputs with 256 buses. New features include delays and EQs in the crosspoints of the matrix, compressors, as well as delays and EQs on every input/output, Cobranet I/O, digital I/O and selectable gain analog I/O.

LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEMS CUE CONSOLE
June 2000—At NSCA, Level Control Systems unveiled CueConsole, a modular digital mix control surface that acts as a programming and control front end to LCS' new Matrix3 LX-300 automated system. Each LX-300 accepts as many as 400 audio inputs and offers up to 512 outputs; 32 systems can be networked. I/O modules include CobraNet, ADAT and analog I/Os; AES/EBU digital I/O is promised. After initially programming the LX-300, the CueConsole modules can be removed, leaving only as many modules as necessary to run the show. Theater producers should appreciate the savings on "seat kills" and the unique ability to place mixing and editing surfaces in multiple locations; Matrix3 has already been spec'd by sound designer Jonathan Deans for the new production of Seussical.
