ORAM DIGITAL DEVELOPMENTS THE LIGHT
November 2005—The first console from Oram Digital Developments (www.oram.co.uk) is The Light, a co-design of John Oram and Dr. Danish Ali. The mixer offers recallable, fully automated digital control over high-end analog electronics, can double as a controller for DAWs and is priced from $57,800. Oram also announced The Movies retrofit console moving fader automation, with 40 channels priced around $17,500.


ORAM BEQ SERIES 4T
November 2004—This Series has a 24-bus architecture and routing to two stereo buses, which are easily combined to provide 5.1 and 7.1 mixes. The Series 4T is a derived version of the Series 24 used on many Oscar-winning soundtracks, and is offered at special low prices for this year only in celebration of John Oram's 40th year in the industry. Retail: $27,900.


ORAM SERIES 24 & ORAM BEQ PRO 24 5.1
August 2004—The Oram BEQ Series 24 and Pro24 5.1 consoles are 24-bus production desks and feature identical microphone preamps and channel EQs. While the Series 24 is suited for stereo-only recording facilities, the surround-ready Pro24 5.1 offers increased performance and includes eight group faders, eight aux sends, eight auxes via small fader routing, 5.1 routing with a sub-output mix matrix, eight stereo returns with EQ and a stereo hi-def EQ Sonicomp compressor. The Pro 24 5.1 also offers a sub-bass output with a built-in crossover. The BEQ Series 24 and Pro24 5.1 are priced as low as $45,000 and $63,000, respectively.


ORAM BEQ Pro 24
October 2000—The BEQ Pro 24 Professional 5.1 audio console from the "father of British EQ" John Oram. The Oram BEQ Pro24 has been designed for the studio that requires the classic warm sound that Oram Sonics delivers, together with today's sound-around mix functionality. The Pro 24 is also equipped to deliver your finished master from the two mix outputs. Included is $6,000 worth of mastering equalization and compression in the center section. No other console available in its price range can offer so many features and performance.


ORAM PROJECT 24
