The Recording Arts curriculum is a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts program that encompasses both analog and digital recording. Students begin with coursework that is designed to teach music theory, songwriting and composing using music scoring software. Students are then presented with advanced recording, mixing and mastering techniques, as well as the principles of sound design for CD production, film and video post production. The program incorporates Digidesign’s Pro Tools Certification courses and the opportunity for students to become a Certified user at the Operator level in Music.
