IAEA has been providing quality, hands-on training in audio engineering since 2004. The Audio Recording Engineering program immerses students in a 2-year/6-semester education that covers all areas of audio engineering, including professional music recording and production, live sound reinforcement, audio for video, music theory and MIDI production. IAEA provides its students with the most hands-on training found anywhere, and graduates can be seen across the country in various recording/post-production studios and live sound companies. Students will engineer dozens of recording sessions, acquire countless hours of mixing and editing experience, and develop extensive musical production skills—all for a fraction of the cost of similar schools. All classes are taught at BRC Audio Productions, which houses multiple recording studios, a mastering studio, a computer music lab and a live sound/recording club. Our mission is to graduate professional-level audio engineers who are ready to work in the industry.
