ADAMSON T-21 SUB
November 2005—Adamson’s (www.adamsonproaudio.com) T-21 Sub has two SD-21 Symmetrical Drive™ kevlar/neodymium dual voice-coil, 3,000-watt drivers mounted back-to-back and ported out each end of the front. The 58x36x23-inch cabinet flies above the Adamson Y18 line array or stand-alone using the five splay angles of Adamson Integrated Rigging™ captive hardware.
ADAMSON SPEKTRIX SERIES
January 2005—The SpekTrix Series from Adamson encompasses three models: the SpekTrix, SpekTrix Sub and the new SpekTrix Wave. Utilizing Adamson's AIR (Adamson Integrated Rigging) flying hardware, the SpekTrix Wave is a three-way design in a 15° trapezoidal enclosure. This module incorporates two Adamson 8.5-inch Kevlar neodymium drivers (one ND8-L mid-bass driver and one ND8-M midrange driver) and a 1-inch HF compression driver mounted on a patented Adamson wave-shaping sound chamber. The sound chamber has a defined coverage pattern of 15°×120° (V×H). The SpekTrix is similar in size, weight and components, but has a slightly narrower vertical dispersion pattern. The SpekTrix Sub is a compact, sub-bass loudspeaker with two AW18 Kevlar bass drivers mounted in a tuned, vented and fully braced cabinet. The Sub may be arrayed conventionally or for true cardioid performance. Adamson's Y-Axis line includes the Y10 sub-compact three-way module, the Y18 3-way module and the Y10 Sub, a flyable, front-loaded, dual 18-inch vented enclosure.
ADAMSON SPEKTRIX SUB
November 2004—Designed to complement the SpekTrix compact line array, the SpekTrix Sub from Adamson uses Convertible Cardioid Technology, and is a single-sided box that can be arrayed conventionally (all facing the same way) or can be arrayed in back-to-front pairs for true cardioid performance. The 170-pound, 23x28x33-inch (HxWxD) unit has two powerful AW18 Kevlar woofers mounted in a tuned, vented enclosure with four NL8 connectors (two front, two back) for easy cable loop-through, regardless of the sub's orientation. Adamson's Integrated Rigging system makes setup quick and easy, with four sets of captured, precision-machined, spring-loaded rigging hardware that retracts into the cabinet when not in use.
ADAMSON SPEKTRIX
November 2003—Adamson’s new Spektrix compact line array is a three-way, 62-pound enclosure that can be either bi- or tri-amped. Innovative features include captive, hidden, revolving-disk interconnection and a unique sliding-point rigging frame. It employs two different purpose-designed 8.5-inch Kevlar drivers, one for LF the other for MF, plus a BNC DE900 compression driver on a 120-degree horizontal device.
ADAMSON Y-10
July 2003—Adamson's Y-10 employs a JBL
1.5-inch exit compression driver co-axially mounted with a proprietary
9-inch Kevlar midrange compression driver. On either side of the
mid-high chamber is a 10-inch woofer. The company's new (and unnamed at
press time) dual 8-inch line array module has proprietary Kevlar
Neodymium woofers with a 2.5-inch voice coil and a B&C compression
driver.
