ART HD SERIES GRAPHIC EQS
September 2005—Applied Research and Technology's (www.artproaudio.com) HD Series graphic EQs are engineered for high standards in audio performance, with precision 1% resistors in the filter sets and ultralow-noise/low-distortion active gain elements for a dynamic range spec exceeding 117 dB. Available are single ($219) and dual ($359) 31-band models and a dual 15-band version ($219) — all with independent variable high/lowpass filters. Also standard are automatic relay bypass, variable input level control, clip level indicator, RFI filtering, selectable-scale ±6/±12dB switching and active balanced XLR and Euroblock connectors. A Bypass switch allows for direct comparison between the equalized and non-equalized signal for each channel.

ART SLA-2
November 2004—The SLA-2 studio linear power amp delivers 200 watts/channel (560 watts bridged mono) of clean, clear power from a single rackspace. In addition to a temperature-controlled, variable-speed cooling fan, the oversized convection heat sinks located on each side of the SLA-2 silently direct heat flow outside of the chassis. Euroblock connectivity keeps input connections secure and convenient. We've also included a tamper-proof faceplate for fixed installations. Retail: $379.

ART DTI
November 2004—Applied Research and Technology announces the ARTcessories Dual Transformer Isolator™ (DTI), a high-quality, totally passive box intended to eliminate ground loop — based noise (hum) in sound systems. Requiring no power, the 2-channel DTI offers 1/4-inch, XLR and RCA connections, has a high-performance audio transformer and does not degrade the audio signal. Retail is $59.
