October 2006—The P-S21E-I is the newly introduced self-powered version of Bag End's (www.bagend.com) popular, compact, high-output S21E-I subwoofer system featuring a 21-inch driver and the Minima One II, BAG END's proprietary 1,000-watt high efficiency power amp module. The unit, housed in a 241/2-inch high by 241/2-inch wide by 201/2-inch deep cabinet, is designed to be driven by BAG END's INFRA Series bass processors. The combination of driver, cabinet and processor design produces flat response down to 8 Hz.

BAG END DOUBLE-18 POWERED SUB
July 2006—The P-D18E-AD double-18 subwoofer from Bag End is now available in a powered version. Part of the company's popular INFRA Series, the P-D18E-AD is a high-output sub designed to provide extended LF reproduction from a relatively small and low-profile enclosure. Designed for permanent installation, the P-D18E-AD can fit under platforms and in tight vertical spaces, with dimensions of 15x38x30 inches (HxWxD); weight is 131 pounds. Its 18mm, 13-ply birch plywood enclosure has a flat black finish and a black-coated steel grille. Used with the INFRA Integrator, the P-D18E-AD provides flat response down to 8 Hz. Its onboard Minima One amplifier has a continuous output rating of 1,000 watts; max SPL (40 Hz @ 1 m) is 121 dB.

BAG END INFRA-MXB
November 2004—The INFRA-MXB is single-rackspace stereo electronic crossover with mono-sum INFRA bass processing. The MXB low-frequency output offers dual integration and dynamic filter protection. Surface-mount technology construction throughout and an improved grounding scheme ensures high performance and low noise. MXB dual integrators provide flat response down to 8 Hz when used with Bag End INFRA Series bass speaker systems. Outputs are low-impedance and balanced. Retail: $1,180.

BAG END MINIMA ONE
May 2004—Bag End's Minima One self-powered option is an internal 5-pound, 1k-watt, high-efficiency switching amplifier that runs on all voltages.

BAG END LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEMS INFRA-M AND M2
October 2003—The INFRA-M is a new-generation bass-signal processors from Bag End. The INFRA-M and M-2 dual integrators operate a subwoofer below resonance without the use of lowpass filters, thus eliminating filter delay, impedance bumps and other irregularities. The payoff is a flat response down to as low as 8 Hz. The result is a bass system that is simpler and sounds better. SRP: INFRA-M, $1,180; the M-2 with CVR limiter, $1,390.

BAG END S21E-I
May 2003—New subwoofers worthy of note include Bag End’s ($1,980 list) S21E-I, a single 21-inch ELF sub-woofer in a compact 2-cubic-foot enclosure rated 800 watts continuous and providing response down to 8 Hz.

BAG END TA6000-S
October 2002—The Bag End TA6000-S Time-Aligned loudspeaker system is a low-profile version of the company's immensely successful TA6000. Our engineers devised a way to accommodate 6.5-inch drivers in the low-profile enclosure that measures only 6 inches high. Optimized for horizontal mounting to fit into confined spaces, the TA6000-S has the same components as the TA6000: two 6.5-inch LF cones with 1-inch voice coils, and an HF radial horn with a 1.8-inch titanium diaphragm. Response is 95 to 20k Hz. Retail: $735.
