CREST CV-20
March 2007—Designed for mixing FOH, monitors or both, Crest's (www.crestaudio.com) CV-20 console has 24/32/40/48/56 inputs with four-band EQ, 12 aux sends, eight subgroups, LCR panning, 128 VCA assignments, 144 mute scenes, 11x4 matrix and dynamics on all subgroups and main buses.


CREST NX COBRANET-8
October 2006—Nx CobraNet-8 is a control module specifically designed to add networking and processing functionality to Crest's Ci™ 20x8 and 20x4 multichannel power amplifiers. Supports all NexSys® and MediaMatrix functions, DSP functions and CobraNet digital audio I/O on a single Cat. 5. Extensive suite of DSP options including loudspeaker management, delay, EQ, compression/limiting and crossover.


CREST HP-W CONSOLE
March 2006—Available in 28/36/44 standard mono input frames with four full stereo channels, eight mono Automix™ channels and two stereo line returns is the HP-W from Crest. The unit features 4-band (swept mids) EQ, eight analog subgroups, 100mm faders, 2-channel matrix, full talkback and monitor systems, 8-scene mute, 10 aux sends (with fader flip for use as a monitor mixer), and four stereo line input channels with EQ, assignment and aux sends.


CREST AUDIO CMI 2208
January 2006—The Crest Audio CMi 2208 amp works with the company's Nx CobraNet-8 control module using Crest NexSys 4 and Peavey MediaMatrix MWare software for advanced control and audio routing. The Nx CobraNet-8 module fits into a CMi 2208 rear bay, supporting all NexSys functions, DSP and CobraNet digital audio I/O on a single Cat-5 Ethernet cable. A four-character LED allows easy setup, control and monitoring of up to eight CobraNet audio channels from the rear panel. DSP options for the Nx CobraNet-8 include delay, EQ, compression/limiting and crossover. Amplifier monitoring includes ACL (Active Clip Limiting), IGM (Instantaneous Gain Modulation), I/O gain, DC, thermal protect, fault, mute, Ethernet data and link statuses. The CMi 2208 is rated at 150W/side into 4 ohms, 300W bridged into 8 ohms and 200W/channel at 70V.

November 2004—The MLM-2 and stereo MLS-2 studio microphone and line input intelligibility processors. The units are designed to optimize audio signals in recording, broadcasting and live applications, and offer an EQ and dynamics section and the SmarTube processor that adds tunable upper frequency harmonics to the program material.

November 2004—The STP-1 is a 2-channel mic/line processor and channel strip. Each channel has four functional sections: the mic and line preamp; a four-band parametric EQ; output level, pan, meter and sum controls; and a SmarTube™ sound processor, a solid state processing technology that replicates the natural warmth of vacuum tubes to provide a distinct sonic edge for your mix.

CREST HP-EIGHT CONSOLE
December 2003—Crest's new HP-Eight console is an 8-bus board designed for use in install and portable markets. The console is dual-purpose — ideal for both FOH and monitor applications — and is available in 24 to 56 mono input channel configurations (plus five stereo line/effects returns), with 10 aux sends, fader flip, direct outputs, 4-band channel EQ (with sweep mids), 100mm faders, 4-channel scene muting and an internal power supply, plus provision for an optional redundant external power supply. A five-year warranty is standard. A 32-channel model is expected to retail around $5,000.


CREST HP EIGHT CONSOLE DEBUTS
November 2003—Crest Audio introduced its HP Eight, reaching an amazing price by employing modular input construction in blocks of eight channels. Ten aux sends and fader-flip provide monitor mix facility. Features include five stereo line ins with 3-band EQ and an 11x2 matrix.

October 2003—Bridging the world between high-quality audio designs and economical construction techniques, the Crest Audio HP810 console mixer fills the increasing needs of the professional install and portable markets. Backed by a five-year warranty, the HP810 follows the tradition of high audio quality and reliability as established by all previous Crest console products. Features include 24, 32, 40 or 48 mono-input channels, eight analog subgroups. and left, right and mono outputs.


CREST AUDIO V12
January 2003—Crest Audio’s top-of-the-line FOH mixer is the V12, which is well-suited for a range of live concert and theatrical applications. The V12 is available in several frame sizes, from 24- to 48-input, all provided with an additional four stereo-input channels. Four-band parametric EQ is available on all mono and stereo-input modules, which also offer 18dB/octave highpass filters and true LCR panning. There are 12 VCA groups for level and mute control, and the console has up to eight mono and five stereo-output mixes, plus 28 additional outputs. Fully balanced busing increases immunity to outside interference, and programmable muting of inputs and all outputs is standard. An optional link system can accommodate up to three main consoles and two sidecar expanders to create a 212 mono/stereo-input console. Prices for the V12 range from $76,000 for a 52-input model (48 mono plus four stereo-input channels) to $67,000 for the 44-input, $58,000 for the 36-input and $49,000 for the 28-input. The 28-input V12 sidecar is $44,000.


CREST PERFORMANCE CP-6210/CP-6220
October 2002—The Crest Performance CP-6210 and CP-6220 are high-performance pro music program mixers. Designed in the style of classic DJ mixers, these offer improved performance specs, including a low phase shift (minimum signal smear) design. The CP-6210 offers basic 6-channel stereo mixing and signal monitoring; the CP-6220 adds EQ control and assignment, as well as crossfade capabilities to each input channel.


CREST PRO200 SERIES
October 2002—The new Pro200 Series amps offer the same sonic integrity as their Professional Series predecessors, with increased power and less weight in a smaller package at a more affordable price. The three new models (each 2RU, and all weighing 25 lbs.) are the Pro8200 (1,450 watts/channel into 4 ohms), Pro7200 (1,000 watts /channel) and Pro5200 (525 watts/channel). Introductory list prices are: $2,630, $1,970 and $1,490, respectively.

September 2001—Crest Audio spent five years on its analog console development program, and the flagship V12 is the result. Designed for both live concert and theatrical applications, the V12 offers the ability to create eight mono, five stereo and up to 28 additional output mixes. Features include 12 VCA groups for level and mute control and true LCR panning. EQ on input modules is fully parametric 4-band with 18dB/octave highpass filters. MIDI-based automation features are under microprocessor control, with a front end provided by JL Cooper or Crest's own NexSys Computer Control System. An optional link system can accommodate up to three main consoles and two 30-input sidecar expanders to create a single 212 mono/stereo-input console. Price for a 52-input channel version is $72,000.
