NEUTRIK EMC SERIES
May 2007—Designed for enhanced RF rejection in critical applications, the EMC Series XLR connector from Neutrik (www.neutrik.com) looks like a standard XLR and is available in several versions. Inside the shell, a small circular capacitor surrounding the cable shield ensures continuous RF shielding from the cable to the chassis connector housing. An EMI suppression ferrite bead between pin 1 and the cable screen provides a lowpass filter for improved RF rejection.

NEUTRIK 4 POLE Y-SPLIT OPTICALCON
October 2006—Neutrik's 4 pole Y-Split OpticalCon offers four multimode fibers within 2 OpticalCon connectors on each end of an assembled Y-split cable. Perfect for high bandwidth audio and video or additional control signal transmission, Neutrik's Y-Split OpticalCon is an ideal solution when a 2 fiber system is insufficient. The Y-Split has superior cable retention, features a push-pull locking mechanism and protects against dirt and dust via an automatically operated sealing cover.

NEUTRIK OPTICALCON
October 2005—Neutrik created the OpticalCon to increase the reliability and maximize the uptime for fiber-optic connection systems. The new system is based on a standard optical LC-Duplex connection. However, OpticalCon improves this original design to ensure a safe and rugged connection. It enables up to four copper wires to run power or data signals. A special SMPTE version has been optimized for broadcast applications, providing an additional ground-shell contact. Price: Starting at $800.

NEUTRIK NP*X SERIES
November 2004—Thinnest available 1/4-inch mono and stereo plugs with unique Neutrik chuck-type strain relief on the market today. The new plugs meet the most recent requirements for highest packing density, which is 15.88 mm.

NEUTRIK SPEAKON COMBO
July 2004—Neutrik announces the Speakon® Combo NLJ2MD-V, a unique combination of a 1/4-inch jack and the Speakon chassis connector in one shell. The concept of the Speakon Combo is similar to that of Neutrik's current popular Combo Series, where a female XLR receptacle is combined with a 1/4-inch jack. The two-pole Speakon Combo is compatible with the existing NL4MD-V panel cutout and vertical PCB layout. The mating connector on the Speakon Combo can be either a Speakon cable connector (NL2FC, NL4FC, NL4FX or NL4FRX) or a 1/4-inch TS plug.

NEUTRIK NF2D RCA PHONO CONNECTORS
October 2003—Neutrik's new RCA jacks feature isolated, recessed sockets in nickel or black-chrome D Series-style housings. Either connector can be ordered with black, red, yellow, blue, green or white ID rings to enable color-coding for video applications. The new NYS 373 plugs feature gold-plated contacts. The new RCA phono jacks feature a rated current and voltage of 1A and 50V, respectively, with an insulation resistance of 5 GW, contact resistance of 10 mW and dielectric strength of 500V.
