WHARFEDALE EVP-XP POWERED SPEAKERS
June 2006—The EVP-XP Series from Wharfedale Professional (dist. by IAG, www.iagpro.com) is the powered version of the company's EVP-X. As with the passive EVP-X, the EVP-XP features a new elliptical waveguide horn on a 44mm titanium HF compression driver. The EVP-X12PM and EVP-X15PM (12/15-inch stage monitors) include a 5-band graphic EQ for more feedback control, as well as an output jack for daisy-chaining a passive EXP speaker from the monitor. A 15-inch powered sub is optional. The 12-inch front-of-house and monitor models have 300W (continuous) amps, with all others having 400W amps.
WHARFEDALE PRO TITAN T12P
October 2005—Designed for live sound applications, this 12-inch, two-way powered loudspeaker features a molded polyethylene enclosure, 250W+100W bi-amp power with mic/line input mixing and 13 M8 rigging points for safe flown applications. Price: $449.
WHARFEDALE PRO TWIN X SERIES
June 2004—New from Wharfedale Pro, Twin X is a series of coaxial two-way speakers available in 8 to 15-inch configurations (the Twin-8, 10, 12, 15 and the Twin-C15HB and C18HB subwoofers). All are unpowered systems with internal crossovers; their compact size makes them suitable for mains, stage monitoring or near-field fill applications. All feature 18mm birch-ply cabinets, dual Speakon connectors, steel grilles, pole-mount socket for portable use, onboard HF driver protection, trapezoidal cabinets and wide, smooth dispersion. Cabinets can be ordered in a black or white finish.
WHARFEDALE PRO COMAX
March 2005—Wharfedale's Comax Series is based on a high-power, coaxial 12-inch driver mounted in a compact molded enclosure with 400W of bi-amping. Its multiple flying points can also be fitted with removeable casters for portable P.A., while a matching 600W subwoofer creates a high-SPL, full-range system. Deliveries are planned for mid-2005.
